  Im thinking this would be useful to stream foxtel go from ipad/samsung tablet to tv but not sure how smooth it would be

    Would that work? I'm thinking the same for the AFL app, as they don't allow you to stream it onto a TV at all. Would this get around that somehow? If so, I'll buy it in a heartbeat.

      I just looked at some youtube reviews and I dont think it would work unfortunately. Got excited aswell but it doesn't mirror the device so I guess it won't work for apps like foxtel and afl

        Yeah I assumed as much :-( damn them and not allowing it to be shared onto a TV! Although I understand the commercial reasons for it.

      I have no probs streaming AFL app from my Xoom tab onto my TV via micro HDMI/HDMI cable - picture can be a little fuzzy at times but watchable nevertheless..Has been quite good lately..not sure if it's my WIFI reception or latest updates to the app.

  If only this thing can do miracast
