Hi Guys,

First time poster. I just happened to go walk into the Macgregor Riders Cyclery yesterday to find my girlfriend a bike and find out they are closing down to merge with Amart Sports (or all sports.. whatever they are called now).

They have 50% off all their bikes, and 75% off all their accessories and parts, including helmets!!!

Bought a bike for myself.. they were out of cruisers for my girlfriend (doh!). In my opinion, pretty good quality bikes and helmets amongst other stuff, but judge for yourself.

Plenty of road bikes were left, a couple of urban bikes, plenty of kids bikes of all ages, couple electric bikes ;), and bits and bobs here n there.

    They are slowing closing down all the Goldcross standalone stores with bike workshops. They will be replaced by "store within a store" places in Rebel Sport and A-Mart All Sports. They have been having 50% off accessories for quite a while now. The bike discount is probably signalling this particular store will shut up shop fairly soon. But note that getting warranty/service for any bike you buy will be more difficult as the "new" stores no longer have workshops, they have to send the bikes away.
