Website Hosting Providers?

Hey all,

I bought a domain (.com.au) in the Ventra IP offer that was posted on OZB a while back. I want to get the web page up and running and have a developer in place but just need to sort the hosting (basic business hosting with email service). Can anyone suggest any reliable, cheap hosting websites? I have used Go Daddy in the past but haven't found them to be too good.

    depends on how much traffic you are expecting. you can get basic hosting for as little as ~$20/yr (eg zuver)

    If you need something simple have you considered http://www.weebly.com/?

    Free and great templates.

    For shared cpanel hosting I've been happy with deasoft.com, good uptime on my reseller account but a little bit slow on the support which isn't a huge problem if your website is up all the time!

    What framework are you using? Is your website just going to be a html/css coded one or will you use a CMS like WordPress?

    Does location of the servers matter? It should depend on the majority of your visitor base.

    I've used A Small Orange (http://asmallorange.com/) with a number of clients before. I've had some dealings with their support staff and they're quite good.
