i'm not tech savy, but for $60, is it too good to use for a few times and hand down to your kids etc?

Not sure what is false about it as I could see that clearly in the specs.
The 60 day returns policy is a plus as well.
Sloooowwww moootttiooonnn…. Myyyyyy milllkkkkshhhaaakeee!!!
Powered by 4 aaa batteries, awesome.
It's a DX.com quality camcorder, so I don't know how they can in good conscience call it "Premium". No optical zoom either.
It's probably using camera phone or webcam sized sensor. Wouldn't actually be all that bad of a deal if you could use it as a webcam, but I would save another $40 and get a 720p HD point and shoot which would run circles around this.
Funnily enough does have a touch screen and HDMI out, just the actual camera specs look pretty average.
Unlikely, Aldi often have much higher build quality then stuff from places like DX
Will concede this, but it's a stretch of the imagination to call it Premium.
Having a quick look at DX it seems it may even be cheaper than most, but some of the pricier DX ones have better features (e.g. optical zoom). Would prefer if they just didn't call it 1080p as it's a reasonable 720p camcorder for the price.
Looks like one of those rubbish MP4 camcorders.
looks like cheap junk. it's only got digital zoom and it uses aaa batteries
False advertising as it can merely record at 15fps at full hd.
They are gonna be sorry for having their 60 day guarantee. ..
