Refuses for me to download the game for free. Keeps on wanting to charge me >_> Case Zero works fine though. I'll just try again on my console when i get home.

Yep, still have Gold, logged in, hasnt expired.
-> Tried again, i just worked it out. By default it asked if i wanted to use a credit card for purchase (which makes it not free), changing the payment option to MS Points made it free. Case Zero defaulted to points
Ahhh that was my second guess.
I bought/downloaded Case Zero the day it was available as it was a prelude to DR2 (and you could transfer your levelled character from Case Zero to DR2) cant remember if it cost me points or not.

I already have this title on disc but could trade that for xbox one credit in after getting a digital copy on live.
Same with the rest of the games offered til then (knowing the last few months I'll have a hard copy of every game they offer for free)
Don't expect any of the games that are free for XBL Gold members to be worth more than $1 at the trade-in desk.

Don't know where you were planning on trading it in, but can't imagine you'd be getting any more than $3-$5 trade in value for a game that's a couple of years old anyway. Of course our friends at EB would promptly sell it for $60 :S Better off selling on eBay!
Come to think of it I don't think I've ever traded anything in before.
I was only contemplating it now out of laziness / convenience as I'll be picking up GTA V/Xbox One in the near future…

The main game downloaded fine, but I'm trying to get Case Zero now and it constantly says "Sorry, Your purchase cannot be completed at this time. Please try again."?
try on your actual console. mine says that sometimes when the firewall blocks the connection (work)
When I try to download it from the console it gives me error '80150017' :(
I did some googling, could it be that your xbox is set up in a different region (not australia)?
FYI if you use a VPN the connection could be via a different region also (overseas)

Just wondering if the "case west" dlc is worth the purchase and if it always cost that much? I have a massive backlog due to sale games and little time to play them, so anyone who had played these games before to give some advice would be appreciated (never played the series before)
Case west is usually 800 points, and case zero is usually 400. Can't say I know if its good, but I can tell you I shelled out $5 and got 3 Dead rising 2 games.
Between the humble bundles and this looks like I wont be getting any sleep this weekend

You know what, the annoying people getting the posts moved to forums only complained about membership fees! So thats good to know but the people crying until Playstation Plus members cant be notified of their offers never mentioned it….only the fees!!!! The need to maintain an active Plus account was posted with one of the posts.
Difference is you actually own these games after your subscription runs out, as far as I know (don't own a PS so can't say for sure) as soon as your PS+ membership runs out you can't play any of your games.
So with this deal you could go buy a $10 1 month xbox gold membership and get two games.
$5 xbox games even if they are a couple years old is still a bargain and most people on here probably pay a lot less the $10 a month for XBL making the games even cheaper, using the RRP (which again most people on here wouldn't pay ;)) of a 12 month card, makes it $3.33 a game which is even better value
Or if you buy your 12month membership online where its generally cheaper, it works out to be around $1.80 a game =P
I googled the $1 for a month of gold promotion. Took a few links but worked eventually : )
(Just watch for phishing schemes, I signed into live first so I knew if a link redirected to a login page it was fake) boom.
Playstation plus is not free. The subscription is exclusively for the games. You do not pay for gold subscriptions to receive games, they are an added bonus.
I downloaded DR2 but when I try Zero it says not available in my region? Happens both on XBOX and PC
