The Aldi website hasn't listed the projector yet, but I want to confirm the model number, lumens and resolution.
I remember they will sell it for $399, but lost the advertisement.
Thanks in advance

Also ad (in Melbourne) says on sale Sat 24 Aug
27000lm ??? 2700 maybe
You're quite right 2700, sorry about that.
1024 x 768 resolution - so 4x3 aspect ratio (not great for movies)
1.1x zoom
No talk of HDMI either
according to the manual there is HDMI
Digital-HDMI x 1 (MS517/MX518/
MW519/MS507H/TW519

which is link for
MS517/MX518/MW519/MS517F/MX518F
MX503H/MS507H/TW519
Digital Projector
There is no HDMI - ALDI is selling the MX518F.
Look more closely on page 18 of the manual.
The MS517/MX518/MW519 have HDMI
while ALDI is selling the BenQ MX518F according to their catalogue - which doesn't have HDMI according to the manual the MS517F/MX518F both do not have HDMI.
Buyer beware. As the manual may be a little misleading as to the inclusion of HDMI if you do not look closely. However, Aldi has advertised the unit correctly and has not listed HDMI as an input - simply because it is not one…
good pickup thanks for the correction
Thanks :)
Your saying the resolution isn't great for movies?
This is what is the preferences for a projector below, would I not be able to view television on this projector?
Detail on pixel info for projectors
If most of your viewing is HDTV, get as high a native pixel count as possible (preferably 1920x1080). A native pixel count of 1024x768 is sufficient for DVD. However, 720p HDTV signals require a 1280x720 pixel count for native display, while a 1080i HDTV input signal needs a native pixel count of 1920x1080. If you have a Blu-ray Disc player, consider a projector with 1920x1080 native pixel resolution and the ability to the display the 1080p format.
So would it just be if you did 720p HDTV or play a blu-ray the quality would just be dvd quality but would work?
Yes, all video formats still will work. And yep you are correct, 1080p videos just won't be in full HD; rather will be in 720p (limited by the projectors resolution).
Just like many laptops out there (are 720p screens).
I wish Aldi still sell those, so I can watch my Shang-Chi.
