maybe the pool should be:
* i hate cotd
* i hate cotd so much
* i hate cotd too much
yes COTD sucks,
only buy well known brand (samsung nokia asus etc) otherwise you get "china $2" quality.if it says "as seen on tv" then you know it is rubbish
Or… "Similar to as seen on TV"
Poll sucks worse than COTD.
They don't sell quality goods, options are loaded.
Where can I select they sell expensive crap.
No longer shop at "Crap of the Day" for more than 2 years now and am not looking back! Shop elsewhere for better products people…
They sell "cheap quality" goods?
Yup I think so too!
Their Magnetic Curtain fell apart after 2 days and wasn't even on the sunny side of the house :o(
look like we received 1 vote from Jason Alexander
They are the online equivalent of "The Reject Shop"
Its impossible for their products to be considered a bargain, and they don't need to offer bargains to sell their products.
There has been some bargains on there before, but they were with a special coupon code
The special coupon code is so they can ensure only ozbargain etc has access to the cheaper prices and it doesn't cause them to lose money from their usual mum and dad buyers who pay too much for things online.
I used to use COTD regularly when they sold one item every day cheaply (sometimes). Now they're just another online store.
Xbox 360 Grand Theft Auto V - R18+ $79.95 + S&H $7.32 = $87.27 Best price from COTD
I must to comment on a pair of ugg boots I bought from COTD. The right one is of lesser quality than the left one. It's really showing on the suede material around the stitches, and even if I put it upright side by side, the right boot keeps leaning towards the floor (unable to stand up). What I'm trying to say is even their brand-name goods are questionable.
I think they sell seconds as well - that being items from anywhere that didn't quite make it past quality inspection. I bought a BENQ monitor from them some time ago. It's fine and I like it and still use it, but it has dead pixels and always had them.
It's quite sad that Jason Alexander has to tout retailers now to make money. He's a brilliant comedian.
As for the poll, it's a bit vague. Are you asking if Catchoftheday's prices are good or bad? Or are you asking if they sell good quality goods as opposed to stuff that will break easily?
