Harvey Norman Gift Cards

This is a last minute thing but thought I should put it out there.

I purchased a fridge from Harvey Norman about 4 months ago for our new property. Had it on layby for 4 months and need to pay it off to get it delivered next week. At the time we purchased it we believed there were almost none left in the left handed model and thought we had to get that fridge as it was measured to our fridge space.

Anyway over the last couple of days my bargain mind has been ticking and looking to get a few $$$ off thought I could purchase a few gift cards from someone who wants to get rid of them.

Anyway found one off ebay…$96 for $100 gift card, with more than 10 available, asked if her could do me a deal, and the next day the price is up to $97.50 and then has the nerve to email me and say he can do a deal if I can pay by bank deposit for a deal that was $2 worse that what it would have been with the $96 each paying with paypal. So on principal I'm not going to go with him due to the dodgy tactics. (This is an ebay seller with over 10 thousand positive feedback)

Anyway so is there anyone out there with gift cards they want to offload or know anyway you can buy them with 5% off or better???

Thanks

  • Still looking for some. :)

  • There are a few clubs that offer discounts on gift cards - you either need to pay for an annual membership or it may be provided as part of something else eg a work benefit. Alternatively there are places like http://www.cardlimbo.com.au/ that allow people to swap/sell/buy cards….. But didn't see any Hardly Normal cards available when I looked then. Frankly, if you need to do the deed next week, it probably was going to be too late anyhow…… Sorry!
