My missus has bought me a new shaver the HQ1295CC which was listed on this site.

It's a birthday present, so I haven't used it, but on her receipt, they have talked her into buying their shaver guard spray. The spray in question is a good product, I used it on my older shaver and it worked well. The cleaner on the shaver claims it cleans and lubricates the shaver, so I thought this was a overkill.

I called them and they said, The cleaner, was detergent based and only cleaned, so I would need the guard spray to lubricate the heads. I told her the site, claimed the cleaner cleaned and lubricated.

She said I could get store credit or swap it for some more cleaner solution. It reminds me of the car service guy selling you bullshit products your car doesn't need.

I also noticed today they are giving you $90 worth of cologne as a freebie, I didn't notice this, the first time I saw the ad, and asked if it was a new promotion, she said I should of received it and if not call in there and they'll give me a bottle.
