Once again Anaconda has this GPS down to $299. Dick Smith has a similar deal that runs every 6 months or so (at one time down to $250!). A very capable handheld for the adventures amongst us. I just went to have a look but have finally decided to hang on for the Etrex 30 to be discounted.

If youre not tech savvy loading shonky maps and dont want to spend $50 at dse for topo maps, an ebay seller has it for $20 http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Genuine-Australia-NZ-2013-V4-Topo…
Thanks for the topo map info. The RRP for the additional maps is $199. GPS R Us are doing it for $100 with the purchase of a GPS. It seems we are up to V4 in the map series. I would be happy paying $50 from DSE but its pick up only and the closest is 200km away. I'll check out the ebay reference.
Ohh Didnt realise it was click and collect only now.. My local store had quite a few the last time i was browsing..
I think the ebay seller is only downloading a torrent version and putting it on a memory card. Still a good deal if you can't do it yourself.
I got my eTrex 30 from GPS R Us for $250 delivered, was the best price I could find (locally or otherwise).
