Books: free shipping if spend over $75 using PayPal

80

I was looking for a textbook and noticed this mob has free shipping if you spend over $75 (easy with textbooks) and use PayPal. Their price for the textbook is cheaper than the member's price at the co-op bookshop. Other than that I know nothing about them and have not bought from them.

    A reminder: http://www.booko.com.au

A book price search engine that includes booktopia and has columns for price and shipping - you'll obviously have to only check the regular price pre-shipping if you plan on taking advantage of this deal.

As booko's operator mentions though, http://www.bookdepository.co.uk will often win because they have low prices and free shipping for every item.

    • Thanks for that

    • Agree. The bizarre thing is that I ordered 4 books at the same time from http://www.bookdepository.co.uk and they EACH arrived in a separate parcel (same day).

Anyway, http://www.booko.com.au does a good job of checking a range of sources with little fuss and bother.

      • Yes Lostin, I've also ordered a number of books from The Book Depository (courtesy of booko), including multiple orders and they do indeed post the books individually as you say. It seems a very strange practice, but considering the volume of books they'd be moving it must some-how work out to be the most economical method for them.
Once again, a huge thank-you to DKAM http://www.ozbargain.com.au/user/1645 for creating and maintaining booko http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/9312.
