Skip hire SE Melbourne

Hello,

We need to remove some soil and were thinking about hiring a skip for the purpose. Can anyone recommend a cheap skip hire company in SE Melbourne (Monash region)? About 2m3 should do for a couple of days at most.

    I used Trailer Trash. But I think I got sucked in by their classy name.

      Thanks, have seen them being towed around. Unfortunately they're only able to take light loads so minimal amount of soil…

        Last time I removed a lot of soil I just hired someone with a dingo digger.
        They just filled their truck and organised to dump the soil.
        A lot easier than using a shovel.

        I used a guy called Dingo Dynamo http://www.truelocal.com.au/business/dingo-dynamo/eltham

        But I would expect there would be similar guys all over Melbourne.

    if it is soil (and reasonable quality) put an ad on free cycle.

    and possibly some one will come around and take it away.

    I just paid money for 2 cubic meters of soil on saturday.

      Thanks but it's soil with concrete mixed in so not very good unfortunately :-(

    I hire mini skip a couple times in last 3yrs.
    ~$180 per 2cubic meters. Only allow house holds. No tyres or Mattress.
    I am sure he does MELB SE including your area.
    Cheaper way load up your trailer and go to the tips.
