  GameMaker is better. Much more flexible, available for super simple porting to many popular platforms.

      No, but there is a more than sufficient amount of content online that could help you with really anything; guides & tutorials included.
      And if you cannot find what you're after, there is a very large community that can help you. I have been apart of it for nearly 7 years.
