  Note: I'm only guessing, but it could be the same batch that GroceryRun is selling here which has expiry of Feb 2014, so keep that in mind before you purchase 20 10 of them :)

  i bought toothpaste from one of their previous deals and it had expiry sep 2014, so i doubt there is anything wrong with the expiry

  Nothing wrong to use an expired toothpaste. It just slowly losing its effectiveness. Store them in a cool dry place (not in the fridge) and it will last longer. Usually its perfectly ok to use it after 1 year of expiry.

  Completely not relevant to the savings made on this deal BUT:

  Colgate Total contains Triclosan - it's a registered pesticide. Google it and be informed about the nasty shit they are putting in household products.

    I read the Wikipedia article and came to the conclusion that I am quite happy that this toothpaste contains Triclosan.

    I'd rather have an added chemical with no known negative effects on the human body or the environment than ending up with gingivitis and ultimately periodontitis.

      or you could simply use a toothpaste that doesnt contain a pesticide and still have healthy teeth. call me crazy.

  Regarding expiry: the ones I got were 05/2015. Pretty good and on par with some I bought from Coles a couple of weeks back (which are 04/2015).

    Yep, mine have a great expiry too! :)

    The lady at the chemist was all "they just sold so fast this time, I don't know why!" and I'm thinking ah… yes… I wonder why… :P
