Is this thing more powerful than Tab 1 and 2? I believe Tab 2 was inferior to Tab 1. So it's a little confusing.
Yes, but still pretty week. It is sleek, light and quite well built though. / hard to go past the Nexus 10 at another $100 though.
$328 for the 8" is a bit too expensive compare with the 10.1".
the 8" is higher spec'ed though

Its obviously not a top end device.
There are plenty of 1200 or 1600p android tabs out there.
For most non tech consumer they only care the design, brand and look and feel and they don't care what 1920x1080 whatsoever.
That is why i-devices are more expensive.
but, high resolution on touch screen is always so hard to use, I have experienced from Toshiba Kira, Toshiba Full HD Touch and Acer W510, turns out the acer touch screen is the easiest to use because of lower resolution

People failed to realise that the Tab series is no longer the high end tablet series, which is now the Note series.
Maybe price match at OW for 5% off, and use ING paywave deal.
