60 days trial offer: http://www.philips.com.au/e/promo/promotions/personal-care/p…
Was thinking for few months to buy this.. But looks like good price since AUS $$ has gone up and thus shipping from Amazon is more expinsive now.. Local Stock..
I was also thinking of this : http://www.shavershop.com.au/online-store/electric-shavers/e…
RQ1295cc : $299.95 only after cashback from Philips.. http://www.philips.com.au/c/mens-shaving/sensotouch-3d-ultra…
CashBack Details : http://www.shavershop.com.au/Media/docs/131708-Fathers-Day-S…
I am NOT SURE if this cashback can be applied to RQ1260 (Form says RQ1260CC although). If possible I am sure shaver shop would have advertised it..
From Philips Website: http://www.philips.com.au/e/promo/promotions/personal-care/S…
Think both are good deals.. Can anyone recommend between the two?
Either way I think they are good deals!!
Few other deals on www.shavershop.com.au
The RQ1260CC has the cleaner and the trimmer head. I would not recommend the cleaner.
I need to use the trimmer head with a weeks or more of growth as my shaver appears to do nothing with "long" hair. The inbuilt clipper (that all RQ1260's have) is useless for this.
You should be able to find a better, dedicated trimmer/clipper for less than $100. But if you have limited powerpoints or space in your bathroom and are a lazy shaver, the RQ1260CC may be worth it to you.
The cleaning fluid costs ~$80 to $150 per year if you change it on schedule. The RQ1260CC comes with both the cleaner and a charging stand. You can use either as your charger, ignore the cleaning fuction and use the money saved on blades.
My shave now takes three minutes with this, and around six if I have to trim first.
