Back To The Future Lego. Currently $69.99 from the Lego AU online store and then another $30 to ship if you don't order Lego to the value of $150. If you have additional vouchers for Zavvi then the price will be even cheaper (I know I had a 10% one from them recently - I assume others did as well). In the unlikely event you use Ozbargain and have never ordered from Zavvi, I believe you get some money off using my referrer's code ZV8648063.

    Great Scott….I so want one

  • www.bttf.com also had it for around the same price, but currently out of stock

Just ordered one, should arrive in the future.

I once modified a toy Delorean so the kids could push it on their Thomas track.

No one should know too much about their own destiny

    • +1

Well, Thomas did the pushing lol

Looks good, but a little pricey at only 400 pieces.

I'm dreading the day I buy the Minecraft lego set. $80 and the box is the size of a rubik's cube.

      • Don't…buy it?

      • Did… did you just… compare Back to the future with Minecraft?

      • $80?? I paid $48AUD back in March.

Is it just me or does anyone else read in doc and martys voices every time something Back to the Future related is mentioned?

    • +1

      Personally I read in Biff's over-the-top voice.

  • I wish I was into Lego, because that's actually pretty cool.

Gonna be RRP $34.99 USD when it comes out (officially). Obviously target.com does not ship to Australia, just illustration of the RRP.

Considering shipping and exchange rates, it'll likely only slightly cheaper than this deal depending how you get it shipped.

Hate the build design of the Delorian, but really want the official Marty and Doc mini figures!

    • ToysRUs do ship to Australia.

      • +1

$69.10AUD shipped from ToysRUs (their price is $44.99 -_-)

Does it have a flux capacitor though?

  • +1

I'll send one back to myself tomorrow.

  • I want one, but it's such a massive rip off compared to US RRP

  • In the future, 3D Printers will let you make your own lego flux capacitors.

    • Just waiting on that half price w/free shipping deal on those 3D printers to pop up here…

    Hmmmmmmm wife will notbe happy.

  • I checked this out but it looks nothing like the delorean to me, especially the front. I've seen much better lego versions than this made from regular pieces, you would think a factory kit with the ability to make special pieces could have done better..

why does the hoverboard have wheels? that's just stupid.

    • +1

      It's his skateboard.

      • +1

Yep, back to the future, not back to the future II.

        • Correct me if I'm wrong, but we don't see Marty with a skateboard after Doc has made the alterations to make it fly.

        • +2

Marty has a skateboard at the start and end of the first movie. In the first one he also breaks a kids wooden scooter for a makeshift skateboard.

In the second movie he borrows a hoverboard for a short time.

  • Just be careful ordering Lego from Zavvi…I am almost certain that it will arrive crushed due to the crap postal packaging - but then again, what do you expect when you pay for such cheap shipping.

I can back my statement above as I have ordered Lego twice from Zavvi b4…and both times, it has arrived crushed.

  • Mine arrived today. Can agree with the packaging comment but contents were in excellent shape.
