Redeeming flights (American express)

Hi all,

I was wondering how you would redeem the complimentary domestic return flight that you get annually with American express? From the site it says "See more of Australia with a Complimentary domestic return flight every year" and I would like to use it for my trip from Melbourne to Perth this month.

Has anyone done this before? What's required?

    Is this a platinum edge?

    If so, call the number on your card - should be 1800 059 388 and follow the prompts.

      I should add, you can go Perth to Melbourne return though. So if you are planning 2 trips to Perth, you can get a leg each way free.

      You also do not get Velocity FF points or status points.
