Battlefield 3 Premium Edition $36 + $2.5 Ship, EB Games

50

Was just going about my day than was struck with a sudden urge to Battlefield 3 Premium, so searched around online and surprisingly eb has it on best price. No one appears to have posted about this sale on eb so figured I'd do it.

PC is $28. PS3 versions for games are same price as 360.

Some other noteworthy titles at good prices (PS3 and 360)

  • Far Cry 3 $36.00
  • Assassin's Creed III Special Edition $36.00
  • Heavy Rain $19 (PS3 only)
  • Grand Theft Auto IV: The Complete Edition $28.00
  • Mortal Kombat: Komplete Edition $28.00
  • Borderlands 2 $36.00
  • Duke Nukem Forever $15.00 (LOL jk stay away from this piece of trash even if they paid you to play)

Ps3 version is the same instore

    • Thanks, I forgot to add its for both - updated

  • What's the diff between normal and premium? Premium just includes DLC?

    BF3 Normal @ Fishpond $13.45

It was free (normal ver) as part of last months PS+, is there a more cost effective way of becoming premium than re buying the game on disc?

    • Yup its pretty much another name for GOTY or Season Pass, just includes all DLC. Logically it should be cheaper to buy just the premium code however the price right now on PSN is $33 and on Live its 4000 points just to upgrade to Premium. Might as well buy the Premium Edition for $36 which comes with the game. Could perhaps sell the game and get the code.

Not $13.45 when you click on that link now..

  • Not to be a debbie downer, but they had BF3 Premium version on sale 2-3 weeks ago for i think it was $25 or $28. A little more than that sale, but still worth it.

Also, XBL Gold members, standard GTA IV is $9.95 from the marketplace. If you already have add-ons on disc but not the actual game itself, that's a great buy.

      Which version and where?
I have been umming and arring as to if I should pick the ps3 version of this up from EB for the last few weeks and haven't seen it change price from $36. (JB had it for $35.40 last Dec but I missed it then)

      • It was for the 360. Not sure if price applied to PS3 too. Bought it online. Vodafone and 3G sucks, so i can't get exact details but i believe the sale was posted here on ozbargain.

Could of been manager sale? Or just one of those random things.

      • Wait for bf4…then you won't get as slaughtered, because you will start off as beginner like everyone else!
If you jump into bf3 now you won't have much fun as everyone will kill you like the dirty noob you are!

    • .

  • I scored BF3 Premium (pc) at JB (2285) last week for $23. Their regular price is $29 and the std version was $19.
I had a 20% off coupon that could not be shared so didn't post.
A bit disappointed with the game or moreso the players who seem to be able to pop you off within seconds of entering the game on any map. Hacks/cheats???

    • +1

Not hacks, more like spawn camping and noob farming. Hit me up and I'll show you how to counter if you'd like!

Edit: Soz, just noticed you had the PC version. Entirely possible it's hacks!

    • I have been playing bf3 since it came out (approx 400hrs). Have not played against too many hackers. Most people are just really good because they play all the time (approx 1000hrs). If you wanna get good, practice more!

PC version is beyond terrible, that shit is so full of bugs it's unplayable.

    • I haven't noticed any bugs. Go to an unpopulated map and have a practice and it runs fine.
It's just the cheats that ruin the game.
I'm an old 2142 veteran so am a bit familiar with the go.
