    To best honest I played it through before the patches and found it enjoyable. The atmosphere of the game make it enjoyable and I think it's worth a playthrough, not at its full retail price, but $8 is so damn cheap.

    Since it's release it has had a massive 4gb update, which was meant to include improved texture resolution and various visual improvements", AI tweaks, bug fixes, etc. I have not played it since this update, but I found it an enjoyable enough experience prior to it.

    EDIT: This is taken from a forum I visit often.

    It's certainly not my GOTY. But I thought it was a blast. I outlined glitches I saw. I know that it's far from the visual quality of the demos shown prior to release. But… I had fun the whole time. I can't really find a critique that takes away the fun I had. So that's something. Dave, you know it's beyond rare for me to finish a FPS. Nevermind in two weeks. Maybe the setting/license just made me happy? I don't know. But just really enjoyed myself. I doubt it will make it into my Top 10, but at the same time it's not outside the realm of possibility either based solely on enjoyment.

      Yeah I just read some reviews elsewhere, loads of people saying since it was patched it is vastly improved. Definitely worth my $6 (I have $2 credit from another of your posts)

    i was one of the fools which saw the gameplay at the start and preordered, probably not the biggest mistake of my life in gaming but one of the few mistakes T_T

      I almost never pre-order anything nowadays unless it has something that I want (i.e. CE box or giveaways). Can never trust the hype!!!
