    Personally I have little interest in it at the moment, I've always been a big fan of all of the R* games but I was really hoping that GTA would be released on the PS4. It's kinda dulled my interest in both the PS4 and GTA.

      Agreed, despite that promo video supposedly running on a PS3 console I still expect the graphics to be below great :(

      I don't mind them releasing them on the PS3 as long as it goes to the PS4. And not a crappy port from PS3 to PS4 either. I have the same gripe with SR4.

      I'm guessing (and hoping) that the NextGen R* release will be a new Red Dead. To this day, I don't think there has ever been a game that has blown me away as much as Red Dead Redemption did.

      Saying that, being a tight arse (and also finding myself with less and less spare time), I won't be getting a PS4 until at least a year after release.

      GTA 3, Vice City and San Andreas all sacrificed visual fidelity in order to pack more content into the games. For example, compare San Andreas and God of War (released just five months later on the PS2) - worlds apart in terms of graphics. In spite of this, San Andreas is one of the most loved and critically acclaimed games ever made. GTA IV was a fantastic looking game, but was seriously pared back in terms of content. RDR is obviously the exception to Rockstar's pattern - it is probably the most beautiful game ever made - and one of the best. However, the GTA games have never been known for their cutting-edge graphics - rather for their incredible freedom, quirky characters, brilliant soundtracks and their hilarious satirical take on the real world… and VCPR.

      Disclaimer: I am an unabashed GTA fanboy.
