Any good beer slab bargains anyone know of?
I don't drink but want to buy some for the father in law for helping us move at the end of the month.
Beer can be pretty much anything that is good and cheap but not so outrageous that he would have never heard of. Would like a 24 pack cans bottles whatever…

He doesn't really care! He will drink anything, at the moment that beer is looking the goods with free shipping at dan murphys means i don't have to go into a bottlo too.

1st choice (and some other bottle shops) have "clear skin" beer.
It's made in Korea by Hite breweries. I find batches taste a little different. usually about $29 a slab. I've seen them for 2 slabs for $54
the mid strength (3.4% alcohol) are often on special with 2 for $49.
Generally it is a very nice beer.

I'm always partial to Oettinger Pilsner - http://danmurphys.com.au/product/DM_914086/ and at $29.95 its price competitive :) It would help if you could elaborate on your father in laws taste tho. :)
Edit: This appeals to people who like european beers, if he drink mainly VB or Australian larger's it might not appeal.
