Hi all

Power With Numbers Pty Ltd is a FREE service which is assembling thousands of Victorians to negotiate with energy retailers for better energy prices.

The aim is to facilitate a better deal on gas and electricity through obtaining access to wholesale prices due to group buying power.

Completely FREE to the consumer, no obligation to accept the negotiated offer.

The bids placed by energy retailers in the auction will be examined and ranked according to the following criteria:

· Tariffs;

· Discounts and offers;

· Type of contract;

· Service options;

· Fees and charges;

· Terms and conditions;

· Add-ons; and

· Other features and benefits.

How is Power With Numbers different to other energy service providers?

1. We use a bid structure and conduct thorough research to maximise savings for consumers;

2. Unlike comparison sides - we do not simply compare the deals on the market. We will have enough collective power to negotiate our own deal.

3. We will not accept differential incentive structures - and therefore will remain impartial to energy retailers. Each retailer will be required to price in our service fee when considering the price they will offer to the collective group. We therefore will have no allegiances to any particular energy retailer and can focus on getting you the best deal. It is in all our interests after all!

  Thanks for the comment.

  The concept is similar, originated in Pennsylvania and was also conducted recently in the UK.

  Nonetheless, we are different (see point #3 above). We are also presently the only campaign for Victorian residents.
