Just looking for a cheap Android phone that is compatible with apps like SnapChat.

Apparently my Galaxy Mini 2 isn't up to the job.

Only requirement that Snapchat puts on Google Play is that it at least needs Android 2.2 https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.snapchat.a…

No guarantee it would work perfectly.

Not sure what is your definition of cheap, I'd just make sure to get one of the more popular phones.

You can still use it. Google Play store won't let me download on my Huawei Y201, but you can just download the APK file and install it anyway -works fine.
