So, the little one decided to throw a book at the TV, which didn't bode well for the TV.
In short, I'm looking for a sub $1000 LCD that would be 46" or bigger.
I have found a few by looking at Bing Lee and Good Guys and narrowed it down to this:

Can anyone offer any haggling advice, or know of anywhere cheaper/having a sale/problems with this model?
EDIT: I've noticed that they are all LED LCDs, and not the plain LCDs from a few years back. Not really a problem but I'm worried about it being thinner and knocked down easier.
Dick smith have 49" LED LCD for $698.

I bargained them down to $650, then they had it on sale for $598.
Not bad for a cheap TV, I use mine as second TV, the energy rating isn't that good though.
Picture is OK for cheap TV, I haven't tried bluray.
EPG is a bit annoying, doesn't show upcoming shows very well.
