Planning to buy Nikon D3100 with twin lens...Where can I get best deal?

Recommend not getting the twin lens kit if you're a beginner, get the 18-200mm VR lens instead, it's a much more versatile all in one walk around lens. 2 lenses sounds like a good idea but really you want to minimize the amount of time you're swapping them, it also reduces the likelihood of dust and crap getting inside your camera body.
Plus, if you've got your short focal length lens on and you need the additional zoom from the longer focal length lens for a specific shot, and whilst swapping them the subject moves / event is over, you'll wish you could have had the 1 lens and just shot it there and then.

Digital World International is where I buy most of my camera gear from, some of the cheapest prices around and good delivery times. Local Australian warranty too even though some of the gear may be sourced overseas.
I think advice of getting just one lens to start is sound, though maybe could get by with the 18-105mm if you're looking to travel lighter/save $$$.
You may want to look into the dwi Australian Warranty - I seem to have seen various whirlpool threads etc that they don't seem to be very good at honouring it - but heard good things about the Mack warranties.
Personally, for a camera body, I'd prefer to buy local - I've had good experiences with Digital Camera Warehouse and others have suggested Nikons on Broadway.
one lens is definitely better than two for starters…
the 18-105 is the best kit lens - though the 16-85 is the best dx zoom :)
