It's worth the gamble, interest rates are low everywhere at the moment so it's not like it matters all that greatly where $200 is sitting for 3 weeks.
i think commbank is negging all your responses, i shall play the role of the consumer and upvote everybody!!

I went in branch today to ask if I was eligible, they said my account number wasn't selected for the promotion. I closed the account.
The offer was on their website, no need to be "selected". Will be very interesting to see how the increasingly sleazy Commonwealth plays this. My $200 was there on the date specified & took a screencap of the promotion details just in case.
They better honour it as I followed all of the correct steps as they asked in the start and if they don't then I'm just going to complain and as a final result pack my bags and stay with my other bank~

Got my $50 bonus yesterday too. First time the bank has ever given me anything worthwhile.
I got mine on the 8th, glad they honoured it.
I'm still emailing them on this - grrr. I've just emailed AGAIN after getting no response to my last email from 13/8, telling them I have a date stamped screen shot of T&Cs - they've claimed they can't "find" them for this promotion. (Thanks to the person who posted T&Cs somewhere on here.) CBA are such a pain in the butt to deal with!
Do you have another copy of such anywhere? I am in a similar situation where it hasn't been paid out.
