From what I've heard, it's impossible to get discounts for a lot of Miele products. Does anyone know of a way to get discounts for their washers without waiting for their once in a blue moon sale? I recently missed out on their $200 off deal :(

You can expect another sale in July based on the last couple of years. And yes, Miele don't discount outside of sale periods.
I don't think that buying direct from Miele would be any cheaper unless they sell refurbished units.Does EVERYTHIN from the miele range get reduced in July?
I used to work for a retail store and yes its true Miele doesn't give discounts on there products unless they are offering a cash back. The reason is the retailer has to order them directly from the warehouse for the customer, we could rarely sell the floor stock and we could never have the product in our stock even the store stock was still regarded as Miele's.
But there is a HUGE mark up on the Miele items especially the high end gear, a fellow work mate i remember got one of the highest Miele washing machines for nearly half price.
So the best bet you have is either find someone that you know who is in the retail market and get them to buy you one or start another job in retail hehe
Not everything gets marked down, but generally deals on washers, dryers and dishwashers with better discounts for the more you buy.
It is certainly worth waiting for January/July if you can hold off buying till that month.
we usually buy these from a warehouse, instead of a shiny floor show room.
