    • Payment goes to Australia. This will be fixed shortly. Main office is AU, but USA was added recently. Must have caused confusion. GST has to be charged for AU customers for this reason.

    I need to purchase a Standard Reseller plan on behalf of someone who is based in Tokyo, Japan. I have all the details required, and can pay with either a Japanese or Australian PayPal account. Obviously, to save PayPal and Credit Card currency conversion fees, I would prefer to pay from the AU PayPal account in AU dollars. However, your site will not permit the plan to be purchased from an Australian IP address.

    May I send you all the details via email, and then you can send me a PayPal Payment request for payment?

      Payment goes to Cloud Shards in AU. In terms of the footer this has been updated.

      We definitely do accept AU dollars. A lot of clients pay in AU dollars. I do not see where the site says it doesn't accept AU dollars.

      If you have problems, contact us via https://www.cloudshards.com/contact.php and raise a sales ticket. If you are a registered client raise a ticket from the client area.

      If you ordered and weren't able to pay, it's possible that you were marked as fraud due to various reasons.

      Our Paypal is a verified Paypal account in AU.

    Thank you for partially answering one of my remaining two questions. However, what is Cloud Shards? A company? Would I (or my Japanese client) be making payment to a company, or what? BTW Why is there a reference to a USA LLC on your site? (An LLC of which I can find no trace.)

    I must say that I am beginning to think that CloudShards hosting is a 'one man' business. Not that there is anything 'wrong' with that. Just so long as you are honest about 'it', and not pretending to be something else. Fraud accusations can go both ways.

Links are also clearly provided on the structure on the AU side, but this is also being worked on and being upgraded. We have multiple support staff to cover the roster 24/7.

        Yes, I understand that now. At the time I received no such message. The message I received was "The country of your IP address did not match the billing address country you entered so we cannot accept your order."

        I would point out that you have been very evasive regarding replying to the question(s) about just what Cloud Shards is - I now believe that Cloud Shards is a Trading Name attached to a Sole Trader ABN. A Sole Trader is a 'one man' business. It (and your business in included in this) may have staff, or employ support services under a contract (as I believe you do), but it is essentially a 'one man' operation.

        It appears to me that you are Harry Chan, and that you are a Sole Trader trading as Cloud Shards, and that you 'rent' servers/space/whatever from a USA supplier that also offers client support as part of their package(s), but you are not being 'up front' and honest about doing so.

        Regardless, I will see how your reseller plan works out - it is only around a hundred dollars.

          All I want to do is make a payment. You said that you fixed it so that I could make payment, but you did not. I just tried again to pay, but received the same error message.

    I will point out that it was quick and easy, with links provided to pay as either a 'one off' PayPal Payment, or as a PayPal Subscription (whereby future payments may be paid automatically).
