Price drop notifier service

Hi guys,

I've built a web app where given a URL of the item, it will periodically check the price of the item and send an email notification when the price drops.

At the moment I've confirmed support for ASOS and net-a-porter for USD prices (if you have suggestions for other websites you'd like me to do let me know)

The beta is not quite ready yet, but if any of you are interested in using the beta, please PM me your details:

  • email address
  • suggestions on other websites
  • other comments welcome

Of course this is currently a free service (and I hope to keep it that way).

I plan to have a beta registration page up soon, but I'm giving you guys first chance to sign up as I am only allowing up to 100 spots for the first beta release.

    sounds cool, i think would work great for big w, target or masters as well.

    not sure what site and anything particular type of site you target.

    Just depending on what I'm after at the time.

      You're right, it can be difficult for some people who tend to only look for things when they need it.
      I guess the premise here is for people to maintain a "wish list" (things they want to buy, but could wait) and get notified when they drop in price.

      The idea is similar to what App Shopper does for App Store apps.

      Project is still very early stages, it's being used by a select few and I would like to have a private beta once I've polished up a few things.
