Can Audiosonic DVD 5.1 player 'record' to USB?

I'm unsure whether it can because on the Kmart site this is what it says:

"record and play multimedia files vis USB"

i don't know but I don't think it can record.

Seems highly unlikely. It would be breaking laws if it could.
It's probably a copy error where they've copy/pasted that feature from a set top box.
