DeLonghi 220ml Double/dual Wall Glasses 2 Pack $10 @ Coles, The Barracks QLD

90

Double pack of DeLonghi dual wall thermo glassess. were $20 now $10.

220ml capacity.

reasonable price.

I paid with ING and got them for $9.50 (obviously this shows up on my ING statement rather than coles docket.)

admittedly there was that reject shop deal that was less expensive late last year but if you want them now and are in Brisbane then here's your deal.

  • Reasonable price. But 220ml is just too small. I bought similar 250ml and I find them also just a little too small. 300ml better.
(Depending upon how you like your coffee!)

    • Right on, Reject (VIC, NSW..to my experience; more than likely some other) got things size proper the first shop - JUNE'13 O/b, 300ml(*2$2.50) early bird catches the worm. Perhaps most novel of all, an actually useful construction ?

Yeah no silly dysfunction to holding X.75% of a typical kitchen cup > or ~>.90 * ur soft- canned/0.375L variety, etc. But a departure from a market plagued by so many duds.

actually if you use a nespresso machine (like a delonghi nespresso U)for your coffee these cups will be too big.

    expresso 40ml cups
    lungo 150-170ml cups
    cupaccino 170ml

Just so anyone who may have one know these do not fit under a DeLonghi Magnifica. Absolutely stupid that DeLonghi would sell glasses that aren't compatable with their most popular machines.

Luckily I bought them from Coles and could return them easily, would've been screwed with useless glasses if I had bought them online.

Here's a picture of them on the machine with standard Maxwell Williams mugs for size comparison. The adjustable spouts are as high as they will go.

    • news just in: glasses can be used for liquids other than coffee

        Is Lava a liquid?

      • So it's unreasonable for me to expect double wall glasses that are designed to hold hot drink, sold under the banner of a coffee machine company, with coffee in them in the photo on the box to fit in the most popular model of the coffee machine that that company makes?

          Delonghi says "Yes"

I believe the cups come in different sizes (though Coles is only stocking the one size?)

  • Anyone know if these are dishwasher/microwave safe?

  • Harris Scarfe has 40-60% off all glassware until July 23. I'm pretty sure they have brand name sets of double walled glasses that after discount was around the price in OP.
