Just saw this on HOTUKDEALS

In summary:

Entering PS Plus in July/August (Starts August)

31st July: Need for Speed: Most Wanted PS3, usually $100
31st July: Mafia 2 PS3, usually $40
31st July: Spec Ops: The Line PS3, usually $40
31st July: Lego Lord of the Rings PS Vita, usually $40
31st July: When Vikings Attack! PS Vita, usually $14.45

Leaving PS Plus in July/August (Free now, ends July)

31st July: Battlefield 3 PS3, usually $50
31st July: Catherine PS3, usually $90
31st July: Malicious PS3 , usually $11.75
31st July: Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus PS Vita, usually $48
31st July: Unit 13 PS Vita, usually $23

Just checked the July games above and they are FREE on the AU store. So August games should also show FREE on AU Store in August

I got my Vita in December and signed up for this straight away. For a device I just bring with me on public transport it's given me enough to be entertained by :)

Not to mention I have a PS3 too. Incredible value if you own both consoles!

While I love love love PS+ your tite is slightly misleading as PS+ is a paid subscription therefore the games are not FREE.

Why do people insist on posting ps plus games as bargains every month? It's a subscription and it is not any cheaper than usual!

Sorry to ask a noob question but I got a new PS3. Just wondering if I have a PS+ account and I download these games and then can I keep it forever or after the month end I can't play them anymore as there will be new games next month.

Could someone enlighten me please?

Hey guys i need help deciding between au and usa ps plus. I have a vita, ps3 and getting ps4. I made the usa account to get the vita games cheaper. Won't the usa ps4 games be a lot cheaper? I am concerned also for the aussie dollar dropping like mad.
I have some questions

With usa psn are downloads a lot slower when you buy a game, are you actually downloading from a us as opposed to au server?

Online do games connnect to usa servers or local?

if you were me would you pick us or ps plus? isnt ps4 games here almost twice the price?

if sony realise my usa address is fake can they cancel my us account with all purchases?

can other non ps plus profiles on my ps3 play my psn plus games online?

  2/ Variable answer, that is dependent on the game.
  
  3/ Variable again. If I were you I'd not be sure and would probably ask on a forum. Oh my I'm caught in a loop now.
  
  4/ I've had a secondary US PSN account for years, the address is set to SCEA HQ in US. It's all good.

  I got a us ps plus when I got my vita in march, then got a ps3 a month later. I've regretted getting the us one over the europe one each and every month since :(. But I find it is a lot cheaper to buy games for the vita from the us store

  there's no ongoing promotion for now. they had price drop twice on PS+ sub last year, hopefully we will see one this year. stock up PSN credit when there's a sale on PSN cards as well.

Op you forgot to mention Uncharted 3 , Xcom enemy unknown . those also currently free on ps plus. But the download size for uncharted 3 is overwhelming 38 gb.

These ps+ free games post sound great, but there is a bit of a difference. You can only access them while you have PS+. For the XBOX games, you can access them even after you no longer have gold, so for the PS+ games, you are "leasing" them but the xbox one you get to keep.

    Im not sure the 48/1week XBL trials count for them, I think the minimal amount is 3 months of gold, IE, not a trial period but actual gold membership.

I ended up getting a 3months PSN+. Still haven't played Battlefield 3, XCOM and Demon Souls which are all free this month. And next month NFS Most Wanted and Mafia 2. This is great value for the amount of stuff you get. It is time limited so hoping to get the most of my 3 months out of it. Otherwise, I can always renew and continue playing it.
