Hello.

I'm looking to pick up an AIO system as well as a laptop for 500-750 each, is there something anyone can recommend?

    And what sort of laptop are you after…? Considering there are different sizes and different weights, with varying levels of performance for general usage / gaming / business etc.

      Thanks for your reply scrimshaw. The laptop will mostly be used for watching videos, work and at most a little light gaming. Looking for a midsized screen about 13-15". Thanks (:

    It is a touchscreen with win8, has a backlit keyboard & although it has intergrated graphics will play most online web based games

    it also comes with a mail in rebate that brings down the price down to around the $350 mark (download the nbook pdf, it has more info)

    I bought a Toshiba LX830 non-touch with Windows 7 just after Christmas for about $700. Love it. 23" screen.

    Got it from an internet seller, but Ebay is probably fine too. Prices don't seem to be as good any more, but they are probably all Windows 8 and touch screen now.

    Touch on a desktop is pretty silly - who sits close enough to touch the screen?

    I am loving the reduction in cables - just need to upgrade to wireless peripherals like printers!
