DealExtreme $5 GC compensation for 15/07

Has anybody received the promised 15/07 $5 Gift Card compensation for the DealExtreme "50% off Campaign in AU Direct!"
When I chased it up last week I was told they would be emailed today 15/07.
I havn't received it. And yes, I checked my Spam folder.
When I chased it up today, I was told to email [email protected] and someone would respond within 24-48 working hours. I pointed out that this would be too late for the 15/07 compensation deadline but she said that "livechat cannot help about this issue directly for you".

Have other people received the GC email ok??

    I got the reply from Dealextreme as follows:

    Dear Customers,
    It's our pleasure to have your reminders. Thank you so much.
    We are very SORRY for the delay of the GC. Since AU Direct New Site is coming soon, we will have a new internal system which may be a little different from dx.com. Considering that there may be some problems for using GC at the moment, we decided to send the GC to you after the new site being online, no later than 29th July. We should have told you this information in time, please accept our deep apology. Thank you.
    We thanks very much for your attention, we welcome your shopping from our new site and providing us your valuable advices, many thanks for your patients and supports.
    SORRY AGAIN

    I don't know if we should all post this issue up on their forum like what we did the last time before they forget all about the $5 GC.

      I felt that the CSRs I dealt with were just fobbing me off and hoping I would go away and forget about it. I'm not sure we will ever see the GCs. And how much effort is it worth to chase up $5 * 3??

      At one time DX was my default go-to company for gadgets and knick-knacks. But as their delivery times got worse and their prices crept upwards I rarely use them now. Its usually quicker and cheaper to just buy from whatever ebay powerseller is cheapest.

    I see that last night DX emailed out some $5 GC, with minimum purchase $40 for use at AU Direct only.
