Sigh, this isnt BRAND NEW…
NvmReally lame add.
No details on the CPU, really poor display
Doodads, if you click on the go to deal pic, you will see what you ask, and all the other specs.
Dat 1440x900 display, same as my 5 year old penryn
Better than the 'standard' 1366x768 for 15"!
That's the standard resolution on their 15 inch laptops, many Apple users are more than happy with it. It's still a bargain.
They are new. Apple have just repacked them into a white box and labelled them as Apple Certified Refurbished. Here's a link with photos. http://www.designwyse.com.au/dw-content/offers/firesalephoto… Also, they come with a 12 month new warranty. There are also some higher spec models e.g. hires 1680 x 1050 1GB VRAM antiglare 8GB RAM for not much more if you phone in.
So how much extra for the hi res matte display? Not that much of a deal imo but I'm curious.
REP, are you able to tell us the delivery cost for Melbourne Metro Area, and what OS is on this models. I could not see it on your site or the add.
Looking through the clearance section on your site, Im interested, perhaps on the 15" MBP for around $1100.I ask here instead of e-mail as per your flyer so anyone interested also knows.
Excellent deal. Apple refurbs are like new and come with full warranty. The deal on Applecare is a good price too
Good deal, I just looked at Gumtree and some want around this price or used units in Sydney.
Rep, can you please explain "e.g. hires 1680…".edit, REP, can you please explain what you mean by "e.g. hires 1680x 1050"?
Ooooh!, Penny just dropped! (I am talking/replying to my self, quite sad actually) hires = High Resolution = Hi Res, I was thinking 'hires' as in ex hire/rental models.
Refurbished.
