I received this email but thought I would post it here.

It might good for someone who will definitely not feel bad having a meal and not purchasing something to hear their pitch. I struggle to say no. I thought I would post the link to the review incase someone was taking them up on their offer of what to expect.

Below are links for someone else who has been and might want to read before signing up if you got the email and were considering it.

  • I got one of these in the mail recently. Not sure if I want to spend 4 hours at a dinner/seminar even if it's free.

lol no. a free meal isn't worth that sort of hassle

you can ring up their 1800 number and tell them to take me off their mailing list

We went to one of these seminars a few years ago as it was local to us. apx. 12 people attended. The hosts from Wenatex were all sales pitch, overbearing & looked as if they could do with a good shower+ clean clothes. Needless to say not one person bought anything. The food was fish & chips (probably the best part of the evening)
Since then we receive lots of letters from them to attend again but throw them in the dustbin. Unless you're at a loose end & want a free meal for your time spent there - don't bother. I'm surprised they're still in business.

    • That's what I thought. I had a look at the postcodes in my area and they are doing a lot of seminars. I think a fair people would have received the same email I did so I thought it was worth posting if people were considering the offer "too good to be true".

      Thanks for the input.

      • fair number of people I meant to say. -.-

Went to one before. Dinner wasn't what i expected. They cooked up some meatloaf and had dinner with the attendees (around 6 people) and the salesmen (3 people), needless to say it was the most awkward dinner i've ever had.
