Sony Liveview or Smartwatch

Hi Ozbargainers,
I am looking for a smartwatch to control an Android mediaplayer. The Sony Liveview looks OK forabout $70, or you can get the Sony Smartwatch for about $108 on eBay.
My application is that I am going to instruct a gym class and would like to control my mediaplayer via my wrist. I I don't want to waste too much money on it as its mainly for an experiment…
Any opinions?
