Hi,
I'm in need of a larger screen (40"-50") to connect to my PC.
It would mainly be used for video streaming (non-HD), and some gaming.
What features should I be looking for? LCD or Plasma? If I grab an older second hand one- any concerns?
I bought a 46" from Aldi, but the white light bleeding in from the edges was unbearable- so I returned it.
Not wanting the latest/greatest screen, but it will be running games from a powerful PC so I want it to look good (i5 3570K, 3GB 7970 both overclocked). Power usage not so important, won't be used very often.
Make sure it is has this: http://www.avsforum.com/t/1381724/official-4-4-4-chroma-subs…
And also a low input lag if you game

I'm going to buy the new 40 or 32' samsung F5000 series 5 model soon.
Cheap and recommended for gaming.
It does not have a PC vga input though, but its all hdmi thesedays right!
FYI. In general, its the lower spec'd hdtvs that are better for gaming.
