Quite expensive in comparison to other companies.

Exigent offer much cheaper plans, but don't come with a free domain, which are only $10 and your saving more than that.

Even compared to VentraIP, who I thought was expensive, they still hands down offer a better service for cheaper

Plus the fact your disk space and bandwith is so low is shocking, whats worse is that you limit addon and parked domains. Maybe you are catering for people who have only 1 site, but again I still recommend looking around as this isn't a bargain, even if it were 75% off

    • Agreed. This is ridiculously expensive. Even if someone only runs one site, the cheapest is more expensive and less featured than Zuver, Ventra (the Zuver parent) and almost anyone else. Don't touch it.

      • Pay peanuts, get monkeys.

We make no attempt to be a budget provider, our service reflects this.

    • Wow, thanks for the negative feedback.

Just do a search for either of those companies and you will find how users have faired. When you pay less then a cup of Coffee for your hosting how do you expect it to be economically viable and for support to be there when you need it. One of the providers you mentioned actually charge you should you need urgent support.

id like to see a .com.au for $10.00 (with no catch) that's about half the actual wholesale price as provided by Ausregistry….

We've had a hoot with our previous ozbargain offers,

    No you haven't.

actually we have- if you care to actually look, we have previously secured long term customers from ozbargain - however in those times the users were much more receptive. Guess times have changed…

Thanks for posting. Some ozbargainers only want stuff cheap. Quality & service doesn't matter to them.

      • actually we have- if you care to actually look, we have previously secured long term customers from ozbargain

Oh really? Where would you like us to look? Because there is not one shred of evidence on Ozbargain that you have even signed up one customer from here. Please provide a link.

        Thankyou.

I can assure you we have had users take advantage, on every offer we've had - they just aren't as vocal as the complainers.

If your not interested that's fine, you're obviously not the kind of customer I'd like to attract either.

For you to assert that you know if we had a hoot or not with our previous offers is outright incorrect, not possible and to me shows your arrogance nothing more.

a hoot - n figurative, slang (funny or fun)

        • You're the one that made the claim about the popularity of your offers, and accusing people of not bothering to look for proof. Well here we are, looking and not finding anything. As requested, please provide a source that we should be looking at so we can make a proper judgement of your offer. Thanks.

          1. to cry out or shout, especially in disapproval or derision.

          LOL.

p.s categorising random people on the internet into people you want as customers and don't want as customers is not a good look. Quite childish IMO. Imagine if I did sign up and complained about something. Going to dump me as a customer? Seriously?

your not using the right context, your looking at the definition of hoot, not "had a hoot" as a phrase… but that aside to satisfy your urge to try and discredit, with useless input, here's your "shred"

          http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/78646#comment-1007581 there's some positive feedback

"Deal is not too shabby. The more realistic prices + rep activity on here seem to indicate better than average service = more highly recommended for businesses, etc.".

          All the best

        • Please explain how that translates into you signing up a long term customer.

I don't have any urge to discredit, you made a claim about the popularity of your previous offers to promote your deal and try and sway people into signing up . When questioned about your claim all you do is attack and say you don't want people who question you as a customer. Very unprofessional and worrying.

And you still haven't provided any evidence.

          And it's "you're" not "your".

actually we have- if you care to actually look, we have previously secured long term customers from ozbargain

Mate, we can't confirm this because you have the data. You won't release the data because it's commercially valuable. Telling me, or others, that we only need to "care to actually look" doesn't make the evidence fall magically into my lap.

You can always say "we recruited some poor bastards from OB", but don't tell me to look when the only option i have is to hack your site (relax, just having a bit of a hoot).

  • No information about the company, a website that looks like was mashed together in the 90's and taking constructive critism like a little child chucking a tantrum… If you WANT clients, LISTEN to your potential them and keep your cool.

    • must be tired… I meant to say "If you WANT clients, LISTEN to them and keep your cool."
