Cheapest flights to Ho Chi Minh City VN

Hey,

Whats the cheapest flights from Sydney to Ho Chi Minh City during the Christmas/School Holiday period. So around the 25th December to about the 14-15th December (3 weeks approx). I dont mind a pitstop at another airport (no longer than 4 hours) to save a couple hundred. But ive check like vietnam airline and its about 1.9k which is abit expensive for my budget :(

      I tried but couldn't really figure out the pitstops. So I make the assumption you need to stop at Thailand?

    Don't check on Vietnam airline website, go to some agencies in Cabramatta to have a bargain ticket. The cheapest one is Jet Star if you want a budget flight but Vietnam airline is the most convenient flight and service is good as well.

      VA also has some sensational bargain fares from time to time, but not too likely around Xmas.

    Cheapest Option will be with Jetstar. Around 1k3 return, transit via Singapore. Otherwise Thai will be the next cheapest option.

    You're flying around the "hot" season my friend, be prepared to pay a bit more.

      It's for my cousin but yes, unfortunately. It's during school holiday period but that's when his workplace shuts down for a couple week so his annual leave is forced at that time :( which sucks.. Everything is expensive then

    you can check out at air asia. Its a good price, I just bought tickets for my family travel around end of this December.Good luck !

      Your lucky. These are for my cousin which he just told me about.. However my tickets I scored with airasia for $550 with luggage in mid January. I woke up at 4am for December tickets but the server wouldn't let me in. Your really lucky!! I'm going during tet unfortunately :(

      Also, airasia right now for December is about 1.3k+.

      Nevertheless, have an awesome trip!

        you should book a bit earlier like beore 6 months.I bought one way thats way its difference.

      I've flown with them many times and didn't have any serious issues. They are not the fanciest airline in the world but they offer some great fares which make them good value for money.
