          the bargains have made crazy

  • No Blu-ray 3D? :(

    • Nope :(

These days I only buy the best available, when its cheap (eg. if there is Blu-ray, I get that, if Blu-ray 3D I get it instead). So I need to check if there is anything good there that doesn't have a 3D edition available.

  • Any 3D?

  • If anyone's looking for the Hobbit 3D/2D/UV, it's currently $20 at JB, got it the other day on the 20% off for $15.98.
Very cheap for Triple play (they're bound to run another 20% off again soon)

    • more in-store :)

  • my local store didn't have much left.. but I managed to get Monsters Inc for $12.50

  • Wreck it Ralph 3d is $23.98 if you can find it. Bendigo has 4 left

  • Knox had plenty of 3d WIR left. So did Ringwood. Both are south east Melbourne…

    • doncaster currently has four 3d triple-play copies :)

    • Dandenong had 7 copies around lunch. 4 on the promotional display and 3 where they are usually. I bought mine during jb 20% sale. Even then it was worth it at that price but still…

  • Finding Nemo Blu-Ray + DVD = 9.99
    Wall.E Blu-Ray = 9.99

I got cool runnings for $4.49.
    Love this movie

  • I picked up a few blu-rays in this sale… and fortunately for the first time in a long time I decided I would actually watch a movie on the day I purchased it. Open up Finding Nemo, chuck it in the Blu-ray player and it comes up DVD-Video in the top left corner. So I eject it and check the disc, clearly labeled as a DVD and no mention of Blu-ray. It was the only disc in the package, but it looks as though there was meant to be an insert with another disc which wasn't included.

Checked out the other packages and all were sweet. But my Finding Nemo disc only included the DVD which I already owned anyway. :-( Will have to take it back tomorrow and swapped over for another copy, but I worry I will be accused of taking the disc myself. It was properly sealed, so it was shipped that way.

    • Nah you will be good. Just hope they have another one instock to swap it over

    • The Finding Nemo should have two discs so definitely return it.

  • Checked this out instore today - found the following Blu Ray titles were $9.99:

    Wall-E
    Tangled
    Up
    Toy Story
    Toy Story 2
    Toy Story 3
    Tron Legacy
    The Incredibles
    A Bug's Life
    Cars 2

That's all I managed to find. Monsters Inc and Brave were both $12.50.

    • Also Peter Pan and Bambi were both around the $21-23 mark.
