Hi everyone,
I just got stumped on officeworks whilst attempting to price match an iPad. Officeworks had the white model in stock but the shop I was attempting to price match was out of stock on the white, but had the black available. Due to this technicality, they refused to price match citing a difference in product. I understand that whilst they were technically justified in this (since, according to their website - "Non-identical products and services (inclusive of non-identical warranties) are excluded", I was wondering if anyone else has had this experience? Seems a little bizzare.
TLDR; Officeworks wouldn't price match an iPad because they had the white and the other guys had the black. Just wondering if anyone else had a similar experience?
It's justifiable
As different colours have different 'popularity' levels
For example, the Samsung S3
Came in various colours, with some stores having each colour a different price
