Yes I know the game is 2 years old, but most of us cheapskates are generally 1-2 years behind hardware specs on our PCs, so play this awesome game for $5.
Are you sure? I just bought AC3 off Amazon (the 'online game code' version) and it activated on steam just fine. Taking forever to download though. I'm not sure, but maybe AC:Rev would be the same?
EDIT: Yeah I'm thinking you're right… the $5 amazon one is for a 'Download' version which I think goes through their servers, not sure.
yeah on Amazon if it doesn't say Steam as the DRM under the title or in the system requirements then you can be fairly confident it isn't steam :(

Came with some Norton software which I haven't looked at since.
My local PC shop sells Win7 Home Premium OEM for $100 and I don't need to buy any hardware with it.

Awesome but only if it comes with a steam key too bad you actually need to go to the store there for it regardless DX. Any clue what packaging this will be and how it comes?
Perhaps they've unbundeled it from a Graphics card?
