Tom Tom Free Lifetime Maps

Hi everyone,

I bought Tom Tom Via 220 from JB hifi in December 2012.

it says free lifetime maps. I did entered my details here: tomtompromotion.com

However, it's been 6 months after my claim was validated but no activation code yet :(

Anyone facing similar problem?

I just got a via 280 last week and didn't need any code. Once the web application recognizes the device it just shows you have lifetime maps on the main page. What happens when you plug it into your computer.

I'd contact them, OP, as they're supposed to send the code out within a month.

@sraymond: When I plugged in and launched the application it asks for update. Then i have to enter the code to get the lifetime maps.

@Geewhizz: Yes, I did the same and someone from tomtom replied with the code.

Hence, problem solved :)

I had a TomTom. Switched over to Garmin. Much better. Never going back
