I think this has been the case for awhile now, people on other forums such as Whirlpool say so anyway.
A few things of note:
- You can buy the cards in $20 USD or $50 USD varieties. They cost $20 AUD and $50 AUD respectively. Given the exchange rate now, this is great! Not to mention you don't need to pay currency conversion fees.
- The Steam Wallet code is printed on the receipt when you pay (not confirmed yet, if someone buys one, please tell us), you don't get the code on a gift card like with iTunes or other gift cards.
Anyone bought some/planning on buying some?
…of course, if you're really cheap, you could try earn money through the buying/selling on the Steam Market (but you need to have made a Steam purchase prior).
Yeah, I read this off wp a few days ago.
Not a bad idea to stock up for the steam sale coming up.
