Heart Rate Monitor

Has anyone seen a good deal on a Garmin, Suunto, Nike or Polar heart rate montor recently? I am looking but they can be pretty expensive.

Try Aldi they have GPS watch with heart rate monitor for $99

I got my Polar RS400sd from Ebay brand new out of Japan about 4 years ago. Its an older model these days but they still sell it at some places. From memory I paid about AU$200 delivered which is still cheaper than you can get here in Australia. At the time I tried a few different brands but found that the chest strap with the polar to be the best and most comfortable to wear. The Polar straps are basically just an elastic belt with a small clip on transmitter, some of the other brands have large plastic belts that are not comforatble

Thanks for the tip. I see a lot of people at the gym use Polar rather than Garmin and the other brands. I'll check out eBAY. Cheers
