Help: Decent Handheld fone

Hi,

Desperately need to replace my old UNIDEN for a new handheld fone.

Telstra handheld fones were crap. What can you recommend that is reasonably priced?

Is there a new uniden model that has been tried and tested?

We, and family members, have had maybe 4 or 5 Uniden phones and on all the battery died in just a short time. We won't buy them again.

  i bought replcaement batteries from ebay for $3 and they have lasted longer than the original uniden ones.
