I am just curious and anyone here who has dealed with Mwave.com.au before and if the same thing happened to you.
I have been shopping from Mwave from the last 3-4 years and never happened to come accross this issue except for the broken original seal.
Last week I posted a deal (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/107239) on OzBargain thinking of it as a good price.
I placed an order with them and today I did a pickup. On arrival at home when I intend to open the item, the origional seal was broken (I freaked a little but ignored it). The DVD player was unboxed and i was shocked to find scratches and tears and wears the sign of a used product.
I also sent a ticket to mwave concerning the issue and also asked to compensate for distanced i traveled to and from home.
Did anybody happened to come accross such issues with mwave.
You should be entitled for a refund or new replacement, the distance you traveled is however your problem. While i sympathize, It was your choice to go to a store that was located a distance away. Please keep us informed and might I suggest posting on whirlpool aswell. I seen many Mwave complaints on whirlpool.
