  • Thanks Op :)

  • Generally with these meal plans, the dinner meals are always the best right? As in the most amount and the most flavoursome. While breakfast and lunch can be pretty plain / small snacks..?

Do i need to have fridge / freezer space for the meals or are they the kind that can be stored away in a cupboard?

    • There is a lot of variety and food in the breakfasts and lunches. I would not describe them as plain nor small - I have never felt empty whilst eating the full breakfast-lunch-dinner plan. In fact, when I first started using it, I filled in the forms to figure out what meal plan I needed to be on and it said 1800 calories, but that was too much food. I quickly dropped to 1500 and it was fine. I added a piece of fruit some days but for someone like me who eats like a horse, I was surprised how much difference it made that I simply ate fewer big meals and more little meals - the constant grazing all day means you're never hungry.

Depending on your tolerance for breakfast monotony, you could choose the lunch-dinner option. I don't buy their breakfasts any more, but instead have invested in two boxes of cereal, fruit muffins and plain muffins. This gives me a good combination of breakfasts that means it doesn't get dull. However, another person using this same plan loves their breakfast variety because they get yoghurt and pancakes, etc.

In terms of storage, it's entirely frozen and refrigerated. You don't store anything in the cupboard. There are snacks on some days that don't need to be refrigerated (eg: popcorn, crackers, etc) but the hassle involved in unpacking each of the daily bags to remove the snack and then re-add it before you leave to go to work would be such a pain in the neck, you'd give that up pretty quickly.

The dinners are all frozen and you want to keep them in the freezer - if you put them in the fridge and let them thaw, they're quite soggy when you cook them. They are quite good if cooked from frozen though. Hope that helps!
